The Alliance Française de Siem Reap team is delighted to announce the opening of its new premises on 3 June 2024.
In addition to French and Khmer language courses for all levels, taught by qualified teachers, this new space offers a host of innovations and services to enrich the experience of members and visitors:
A French café to enjoy French specialities in a friendly atmosphere and encourage exchanges between students
A new cultural area dedicated to a variety of activities, including drama classes to give students a fun way to learn French
A roof terrace with an exhibition space and an open-air cinema, which can be adapted to suit all events
Franco-Khmer cookery workshops to encourage cultural exchange
A media library and bookshop offering a wide choice of books for learners and expatriates alike
A children's corner specially designed for young readers
To celebrate this new milestone, an inauguration cocktail party will be held on Wednesday 19 June 2024 at the new address: 9V83+VQH, Siem Reap (Sala Kansaeng Village, Svay Dangkum Commune).
This invitation-only evening will be an opportunity to officially present the new location to the Alliance's partners, students and Khmer and French officials. The evening will be enlivened by a concert and the cocktail service will be provided by the EHT Paul Dubrule, ideal for creating a lively and convivial space.
